dood...your casts are awesome...i've always loved cover...so, I am in heaven.
not sure if you've come across it, but one of my all-time favorite covers is Phish's rendition of "Gin and Juice" by Snoop Dogg...it's fantastic. for your listening pleasure, i googled a location where someone saved it...not great quality, but well worth it: http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/c/t/ctr110/Phish.mp3
peace...out...ab
That's not Phish, Phish has never recorded that song, ever. That song got spread all over Napster/Kazaa under the name of just about every Jam Band that has ever existed, but usually Phish. It's actually performed by a band called The Gourds.
Here's a link from their website to the story about it
They used to have video on their website of Snoop listening to their version and grooving along, but I don't know what happened to it.
Posted by: dinesy at December 4, 2004 10:37 AMExcellent podcasts! Normally, I delete podcasts after listening to them, but these Coverville shows are going to stay in my library for a while.

Just want to say I love your show. I've only just started listening at show 23 so I have to go back and download all the ones I missed. I've always been a fan of cover songs so this is like a dream come true to me. Keep up the good work!
