Episode 88 and Server Issues

Looks like I'm going to start shopping for a new host. My files have been hosted over at Brinkster.com since the beginning of the year, and until recently, performance was excellent. The fact that you can get unlimited bandwidth for $18/month is excellent. But many people complained that Episode 88 didn't download completely for them, and I even saw the same issue. If you have a host you recommend - and I need about 5TB (yes, Terrabytes) of bandwidth per month, please let me know. By the way, BlueHost, who hosts my site (not the audio files) has been magnificent, and I continue to highly recommend them. If you had problems with Episode 88, please try refreshing your browser window. After the first refresh, the file downloaded fine for me. Thanks for your patience. Try using the Coral system from NYU:

I received it fine the first time with Ipodder. Don't know if it had to stop the download and then pick up where it left off.

It's still cutting off for me between 10MB and 15MB, both through iPodder and direct download.

The problem I usually have is when I sync with my podcatching client shortly after you post -- forget it. With so many other people looking to download your show on Sunday, Tues and Thurs, I usually just wait for the next day. I hope the new hosting company will be an improvement!

http://bigfishhosting.net does some great deals for podcasters. Starting at $10/month for 800mb and unlimited bandwidth. Check them out and keep up the great work.

Episode 88 isn't the only episode I've had this trouble with - it's happened two or three times recently. I had thought it was an issue with my iPodder download client.
