Coverville 113: The Heavy Metal Cover Song Request Show
Mostly by request, and mostly heavy, it's a night of metal and punk cover songs and a Mostly Trivial edition of Musically Challenged. (It's also a little R-rated, due to language.) Here's what you'll find if you press play:| Title | Artist | Original Artist: |
| Every F***ing City | Paul Kelly | (Uncovered Gem of the Week) |
| Fields of Gold | BeerBong | Sting |
| Tom Sawyer | Mindless Self Indulgence | Rush |
| Dazed and Confused | Three Ton Gate | Led Zeppelin |
| (Everything I Do) I Do It For You | A New Found Glory | Bryan Adams |
| Submission | Belinda Carlisle with Radiator | Sex Pistols |
| The Metro | System of a Down | Berlin |
| Surrender | Less Than Jake | Cheap Trick |
There's a Musically Challenged in this show! Make sure to check out Johnee's podcast, Mostly Trivial!

Any chance of adding another column to the song chart to indicate what album the cover can be found on?

It's probably pretty intimidating for a lot of bands to try and match Rush note for note - but, as usual, you found an excellent cover that went entirely another way with a song, while still being true to the original. Keep 'em coming!
