Brian, would you consider adding a column to the song table indicating the starting point for each track? It would make it much easier to go straight to a particular song or to skip the occasional one that just isn't my cup of tea. I got the idea from one of my new favorite podcasts called Cush: Things I Say (www.cushrocks.com).

I am laughing so hard at the Jonathan Coulton version of Baby Got Back!!! OMG! I can barely type this. I can't believe he sounds so serious as he sings it, which makes it so funny!

For more Jonathan Coulton, check out the Little Gray Books series, http://www.littlegraybooks.com

I especially recommend "Hints on Public Singing"
and "Observing President's Day (Observed)".

They're meeting tonight, if you happen to be in Brooklyn.

awesome episode. The "Lost in Love" cover sounds like it was done by the band from the movie "School or Rock". Does anyone know if it's the same band or if it just happens to sound similar. I thought the actual songs in the movie were done by the Money Suzuki.

Thanks.

Brian - Loooove your show. Been listening since last January - never miss it.

One question -- why have your shows gotten so long in the past few months? They used to be a crisp 30 minutes or so. Now they tend to hit 50 minutes. There doesn't seem to be more music. Are you yakking more? What gives?

I always shoot for about 40 minutes, which is a nice round number (it's also the length of my daily commute, each way). But lately I've added the trivia segments, which I love, and I don't want to cut one of the six tracks I usually play. Also, some of the more recent shows have more than six tracks... I'm even trying to pare down the Cheap Trick show that I'm working on, but it's hard when there's so much good music out there!

That, and I'm yakking more. Yes.

Awesome Show. Really enjoyed Natasha Alexandra's song. Been a loyal listener for months. Keep it up and thanks for all the great music!

FYI...Are you aware Cowboy Junkies just came out with a cover album?

I just heard the "Baby got back" cover...There are some songs that work as a cover, others that don't no matter what the purpose. (Parody, etc)
This song doesn't work. I even prefered the Witney Houston cover from the Best worst episode.
Seriously Brian...what were you thinking?
