And Andrew, you're probably right about mentioning Tina's age. However, she's not the type to get bent out of shape about it at all. I didn't have to sleep on the couch last night, so I think I'm OK. Posted by: Brian at February 6, 2006 8:19 AMThis episode definitely made me feel like Phil at the end of Groundhog day as I was so grateful that the incessant barrage of Britney Spears (albeit an excellent choice of covers) ended. Seriously though, as a standalone show, it was very good. Kinda kinky, too! Either too much spicy food or the approaching V-day must have prompted this one... ;)

You mentioned that on her first record, there was a note saying that her name is pronounced "Shar-day", or something like this. Well, Sade is British, and her first release was probably British, so I'm guessing they were using British pronunication as their guide. A Brit would see "Shar-day" and pronounce it like "Shah-day", because they soften their R's. So this would give the desired result in Britain. (Also, Brits tend to broaden their A's, so they would need a pronunciation guide that keeps them saying "shah" like the Shah of Iran, and not "sha" like "shag".)
However, show "Shar-day" to Americans, and you end up with the whole country insisting that Sade rhymes with Bar-Kays!
Anyway, I love the show. Keep 'em coming!
