Thanks for the show, Brian, and good luck getting out of the basement. One of the songs reminds me of The Simpsons, and, in particular, the scene in which Apu sings it while washing his car. (I won't name the song, lest this comment be read by folks who've yet to hear the quiz.)

Ivor Cutler, who has a several-degrees connection with another the quiz songs, just passed away. One of the links is his cover of Richard Thompson's "Wheely Down," which is on "The World is a Wonderful Place." Please play it, if it's not too Scottish, eccentric, and harmonium-ridden.

I have just recently been turned on to the show...really enjoyed the show tonight especially the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Thanks Brian...

Wow! Thanks for playing my request. You caught me off-guard because I don't read the show notes before I listen. I was just thinking that you would play it a few weeks from now, when I heard my own voice in my headphones. And, yes, I am in North Carolina :-).

Awesome show, Brian! The RHCP are awesome. However, I must disagree with you on one point. In my opinion, Coldplay has the better cover of Ring of Fire.
Keep up the great work!
