I love Depeche Mode. The songs all sound the best song by them.
Posted by: Chocoholic at May 11, 2006 11:39 AMBrian,
Love the podcast as always.... however...
Over the past couple of shows, I have noticed that the audio quality is a little worse than previous episodes.
Not sure if the bit rate is different... or it is something that you changed on your end - or even if my mini is dying on me... again (though other podcasts and songs sound fine).
I mostly hear it when you are saying words than have a "sch" sound in it or ends with it... just a little harsher on the ears.
Again - it may be me (especially not seeing it mentioned in other talkbacks)
Posted by: Jeff at May 11, 2006 1:38 PMNice. Love that Dey-peshkuh-Mode (reminded of that Dead Milkmen song, "You'll Dance to Anything").
I really liked that cover of Behind the Wheel.
Posted by: Dan at May 11, 2006 3:12 PMI have been hearing the distortion on Brian's vioce also. It's not bad but a bit distracting. It reminds me of a badly overcut vinyl album. I've noticed it on the last few Coverville episodes and the latest Not Lame podcast.

Posted by: Tim Elliott at May 11, 2006 4:10 PMI'm afraid I've noticed it too, and I'm been trying to figure out what I've been doing differently. It's almost as if it's clipping. I'm going to work on fixing it before tonight's show...
Posted by: Brian at May 11, 2006 4:20 PMI've been in love with that version of Somebody by Veruca Salt for ages now! It's nice to see it's made it's way to Coverville fame.

Posted by: Derek at May 12, 2006 11:55 AMI recently discovered this podcast, and I LOVE IT! Little by little, I've been scrolling through the archives to listen to past shows. However, I can't seem to listen to shows 175-178. Whenever I click on the "Download and Listen" button, it says it can't be opened. Any help?
