Hello Brian!

His Latest Flame wasn' t written by Del Shannon, in fact it was Doc Pomus & Mort Shuman who were the composers.

Yours sincerely,

Anders Thyrell

P.S Keep up the good work!

Wonderful show Brian! A few of these originals were every bit as good as the later version by Elvis I guess this shows how good Elvis and his people were at finding great songs and songwriters.

Mark James also wrote "Hooked on a feeling", covered by a few, including "The Hoffmeister" himself!

Listened to the Presley show today on the way to work. Very, very good. Always loved Suspicious Minds by anyone. Thanks

Re: Are You Lonesome Tonight?

Okay, the Spike Jones version of "You Always Hurt the One You Love" makes a lot more sense now. Clearly an Al Jolson parody.
