The Lovemakers did a great cover of A Forest, but it's not officially released, so you'd have to hunt for it...

I love the N.V. version, though!

I couldn't wait for the damn i-tunes and downloaded this as an MP3!

Wonderful Brian. Took me right back to College mid 80's and those wonderful Tim Pope video's!!

Use the link to listen to Nouvelle Vague as guest djs on the NPR All Songs Considered show. They were also on a World Cafe' show available from the NPR website.

Another great show, Brian. Keep 'em coming.

Is there a cover of Friday I'm in love?
I'd really like to hear it

dryden mitchell (of alien ant farm) covered it on the 50 first dates soundtrack, and death cab for cutie did it live, but I haven't heard any really good covers of it. There is also this atrocity on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--Cxb_e8wy0

I found a version I like off Acidplanet.com, not sure it can get played b/c it's not on a CD, but sent it in to Brian anyway.

I just have to let you know how much I love all your PodCasts. You know though...this one was amazing. Thanks for all you do to make this happen, you've helped me discover many great artists and today I'm the proud owner of a bunch of Katie Melua tracks purchased off iTunes even before I had finished listening to the track in your PodCast.
