Posted by: Thomas at June 29, 2007 7:46 AMWow - Scott's "Umbrella" is kickass. Thanks for bringing it our way Brian!
Posted by: Drew at June 29, 2007 5:50 PMNice to plug Copy, Right? since she does such a great job.
By the way, on the Ramones show, which was great, you missed Per Gessle's (former Roxette) great version of "Sheena is a Punk Rocker," which he does as a lovely piano ballad. I highly commend it.
Posted by: Michael at June 30, 2007 8:37 PMNice rap show. Would highly recommend a cover of the classic 'Gin N Juice by Snoop and Dre. Dave Matthews and Blues Traveller to a great version. Somehow I landed a copy, but don't know where from. Any ideas?
Thanksand keep up the nice work...
Excellent podcast. I really enjoyed this one. Umbrella was very nice, and My Name Is was neat as well.
I don't know how you manage to find so many *good* covers. :)
Posted by: Björn at July 3, 2007 10:24 AMThe cover of White Lines by Barefoot is also available on the soundtrack of the movie "It's All Gone Pete Tong" about a ficticious DJ.
There is a GREAT cover of Baby Got Back From a folk artist named Johnathan Coulton, worth a listen.
Posted by: Nate Hill at July 17, 2007 12:58 PMSo was the Gold Digger cover the first you've featured to use a kazoo?
