You should totally do a Coverville of songs in the original style (even the original artists) done in different languages. Those are really cool.

Thanks for including Committed to Parkview, Brian. It was one of the highlights on The Highwaymen (Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristoferson).

Listening to Porter's cover brings an added depth to the song.

Anyone checking here should follow the Amazon link and check out the video of the song. Makes me think of Johnny Cash's video of Hurt.

I recognized Adrianne in part by her voice, but more by the melodic choices she made. Funny thing being, I've never heard this track before. Which means I've missed a whole CD from someone I'm clearly a fan of. Must run out and fix that!

If anyone's interested, she's got a great cover of "Hold Me Now" (from the Thompson Twins) up on her Myspace page right now.
