Great idea and very well executed!

Preemptive comment, haven't listened to the podcast yet, but if I hear Cake's "War Pigs" one more time....and where is the "Dog?"

Ok, from now on I will listen to the show before I comment. ;)

Can't wait for Three Dog Night, great band. I saw them live when I was 13 or 14 years old, at a park somewhere outside Atlanta. I'm 29 now. Maybe listening to the show will make me feel young again!

Can't stop commenting today....forgot to say I thought the Carmen Townsend track was sweet!

1st - great concept for a theme. My buddy at work was really pleased when I wished him a happy New Year - we are "Dragon Brothers" - born in the same year. Made his day!

Thanks for the nod to the Godfather of Grunge! Very nice. I too have Cinnamon Girl and just want to back you up - it is a wonderful album lovingly put together. Highly recommended.

There has been a bumper crop of Neil Young tributes the last couple of years. Also, your pals over at Not Lame put out a *really* great tribute to Buffalo Springfield, though the 1st part of the title "Five Way Street: A Tribute to Buffalo Springfield" would be a little more appropriate for a CSN&Y tribute... I cannot stress enough just how special this album is to me. First concert, first favorite band yada yada (ok, showing my age here - yikes!)

As soon as I heard the concept, I thought for sure you'd have a cover of "Dog and the Butterfly."
