Thanks Brian, Yet another great show! Now lets see if we can get you ranked better on iTunes! I think its a CRIME they rank you in the top 50… It really should be top 10!!!
Im doing my part and suggesting to friends, and co-workers! Until then we can say only the cool kids listen to Coverville!
Keep up the great work!

first time here visiting but already your show of prince covers has me drueling… he’s my favorite artist and i love covers of prince… this is definitely a new favorite!
This and the previous show won’t download in iTunes, when subscribing via Apple’s podcast directory, which appears to use a different URL. The error is:
The URL “http://a1.phobos.apple.com/Music/y2005/m06/d30/h06/jfairyeu.mp3” could not be found on the server.
I heard that Apple & Akamai were providing mirrors of some of the more popular podcasts, so I assume their mirrors aren’t updating correctly. Just FYI, in case you weren’t already aware…
An addendum to my previous post… Since iTunes has the option of manually telling it the URL of a podcast RSS feed, I pasted the regular address, as listed on the web site, and it works fine in iTunes. Definitely an issue with Apple’s servers.
Hopefully the issue can get fixed quickly, to help reduce your bandwith usage.
Hey Brian and all the other Coverville listeners. I need some help. Unfortunately the iTunes podcast subscription doesn’t solve my problem. I cannot for the life of me seem to be able to figure out how to download some of the older archived shows. When I click download and listen…I get to listen, but I don’t get to download. I am really wanting to download shows 53, 48, 43, 32-26, and 30. Any help from anyone would be GREAT! Thanks.
assuming you are using internet explorer
you can download files from the archives by RIGHT clicking on their download icon then choosing the Save As option from the drppdown menu.

Great show as always Brian! Just one thing, no Love Bazaar by Michael Hedges? Or John Wesley Harding’s live version of kiss, although I suppose you could save that for a tripple play. Thanks as always for such an entertaining show.
