Shame shame, Brian – no covers of Joni Mitchell’s “California”? There are some really nice ones if you want to do a California Pt II.
Robert Plant was IN AWE of Joni and wrote “Going to California” about her:
“Someone told me there’s a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair…”
Keep rockin’,
Bob
Hey Brian, there’s a version of “Don’t Fear The Reaper” that I absolutely love, and there’s NO COWBELL! It’s by a band called gus. Think you might have it/find it/play it?
Hi Ali,
Got eight versions of the track – none of them by Gus. I’ll track it down and give it a spin!
“Reaper” without cowbell? Isn’t that kind of like driving a car with no tires?
Lockjaw
Brian, I don’t know if you noticed, but iTunes has new category pages for podcasts, and Coverville is featured on the music page!
Those Beach boys and Led Zeppelin covers were sweet!
Joss Stone is still only 19. What a voice! Another fine British export!!
