For another Pearl Jam cover, as seen on Digg, Rapper P.O.S.' cover of Why Go. He is on the Rhymesayers label.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I like it.
And before anyone mentions it, I did intentionally leave out Pearl Jam's cover of "Last Kiss". It's a great cover, but it got enough airplay a few years ago that there can't be too many people who haven't heard it yet.
Not to mention that I hate that cover so much every time I hear it a little piece of me dies. I don't know why I hate it so much but I do. Thanks for this, Brian. I got my copy of the re-issue of Ten this past Saturday and have been listening ever since. This is a nice accompaniment to my current Pearl Jam fix. A great Cover Story! Loved the MiG cover.

Agreed 110% with Steve…the "Last Kiss" cover has a tendency to grate on the nerves after, oh, about the third time it's heard. 🙂
MiG track blew me away…off to the iTunes Store I go now to buy it! Really digging the Eddie and Bashers cover of Hendrix, as well…
Aw man I wish I knew you were doing this cover story. Vedder did an even better Dylan cover with Mike McCready: Masters of War. It's on "30th Anniversary Concert Celebration". Both CDs in the set have some of the best and most diverse Dylan covers I've ever heard. Vedder's live version of Masters of War is painfully good.
I actually had it in the list to play as part of the show, but pulled it for time (and since I had another Dylan cover that I locked in). I'll play it as part of a request show.
