Hey look! It’s the 20th Episode! How about I catch up with some requests? On this episode, you’ll hear the Uncovered Gem of the Week Tiny Volcano, Manic Street Preachers, Jonatha Brooke, Neil Finn, Fredo Viola and Mike Sun, and Tori Amos. All requested by listeners.
Also, send me the name of what you feel is the best cover – it could be one I’ve played on my show or not – and I’ll amass the 2004 Coverville Countdown for the final shows of the year where I’ll tally up your votes and play the best covers of the year. Email me at brian at coverville.com, call me on my voice mail at 314-248-9957, or post a message on this or any entry.
Hi Brian
The item on Podcasting is now finished and will be broadcast ( supposing the really big’ bosses like it ) on Thursday 7pm on BBC2 in the UK as part of the 3rd edtion of The Culture Show. It’s 6 minutes or so long and mentions Coverville. I did quick interviews with a couple of UK fans. One Question:
You played a cover of the Vapours song ‘Turning Japanese’ who was it by and could yoiu give me credidt details – ie publisher/copywright etc
I have used it in the show but have to clear the use of it.

Brian, awesome show, thank you! mb
Brian,
Just a note to say thanks for the iPodderX discount code. I was coming to the end of my eval. period and it was perfectly timed.
I also let the developers know that I had heard about iPodderX through Coverville and that their advertising was well-placed.
Awesome show. You listener sure do pick some great covers. As you mentioned, several of tonight’s covers let me hear the lyrics for the very first time.
Keep up the awesome work.
