A listener pointed out that the contents of my RSS feed have changed since I upgraded to MovableType 3.3. What’s changed is that the tables don’t appear in the RSS feed any more. Here’s an example of the “before”:
feed://www.coverville.com/complete.xml
Now here’s what it looks like:
feed://www.coverville.com/index.xml
I’ve tried replacing the 3.3 templates with the old 3.2 ones, but that didn’t fix the problem. And I’ve posted a message on the Movable Type forums, but there’s been no response yet. Can anyone help?
The RSS problem should be easily resolved, if you want, email me when you get back from PME and I’ll try to help you figure it out.
It looks as if the new version of MT doesn’t allow tables, but with some cleverness you could probably use the old file that made the RSS feed with the new MT version, obviously not the ideal fix, but with a pop, as I say, drop me an email if you want some help.
