Listener Gerry suggested I hold a contest to see who can create the most interesting, creative or cool version of the Coverville Theme Song (which is a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Cover Me”, for those who didn’t know).
I think it’s a great idea, and for those of you who are familiar with GarageBand, you can download the project file here.
Contest ends December 15th. In honor of the contest’s suggestor, the winner will receive the Seinfeld Season 1 and 2 DVD sets (U.S. Region 1 NTSC). Because of the DVDs, only U.S. residents will be eligible for the prize, but everyone is welcome to enter!
I’ll play the top 5 winners as the themes to the Countdown shows at the end of December. Good luck!
Addition 12-06-07: Wayne and Foo make a good point. If you win, and you want the DVDs – no matter where you are in the world – I’ll take care of the extra postage and send them out to you!
I can handle NTSC. Still ineligible?
I guess I’ll leave it up to the individual – if they can handle NTSC, I’ll take care of the extra shipping to anywhere in the world! But you gotta win first!
cool vocal performance Mr Ibbott when you strip it down!! 🙂
hey brian, what about us windows users? we can’t handle the GarageBand files… got an mp3 we can play with?
brian in maryland
Brian,
I can’t open the .band file because I have the iLife version from Tiger and not Leopard. Can you re-export as an older version?
Thanks!
Randy
