LOVE this show! Fave: Tori Amos.
But then, I love Joe Jackson, though I saw him at one of the WORST concerts ever in the late 1980s.
Was that the Big World concert? The whole concept sounded just…. weird…
And why nothing from the Heaven and Hell concept CD? Always wanted to hear a cover of “Bud and a Slice”…
Daniel- Actually it was the Blaze of Glory tour in 1989. He insisted on playing the whole first side (six then unfamiliar songs), then after a couple familiar tunes, the entire second side (six more then unfamiliar songs). People got up and got stuff to eat or whatnot, and a few were talking among themselvers. A few left. They were bored silly, and irritated with Jackson. Finally, he gave the people what they wanted.
Funny thing is that I DO like the album, but it always reminds me of that show.
