Hi Brian! I LOVE these A Capella shows. Don’t know if you knew of the connection, but Tufts Beezlebubs ALSO did a cover of Is She Really Going Out With Him, which is phenomenal.
Thanks! Keep it up!

Great show, loved the version of Bedshaped, except there was one slight problem… it’s 2006 not 2005. 🙂
Wow! That was truly awesome. I loved ‘Off The Beat’ and ‘The Beelzebubs’, those covers were just mind-blowing. I’m tracking down these albums right now!
Hey Brian,
if you want to secretly adjust the volume while a track is playing, just hold Shift while pressing the volume keys. Of course, you can also uncheck “Play feedback when volume is changed” on System Preferences->Sound->Sound Effects. If you do so, holding shift will temporarily reenable the FX.
Keep up the great work, Coverville is among my very favourite podcasts.

If I remember rightly from my vinyl, the Joe Jackson live album to which you refer included an almost-acappella version of ISRGOWH, featuring “a lone tamborine,” and the comment about the drummer that “He can’t sing, so he’s got to do something.”
