Test!
Thanks for remembering my name! 🙂
Hey Brian, I know that i can just download the mp3, but I wanted to let you know that for some reason this episode (#188) isn’t showing up in iTunes yet…
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, or should i re-subscribe or something? My iTunes picked up #187 last week no problem…
Keep up the great shows!
Jon
Jon, you’re not alone. This happened last week, as well. I contacted Brian; he’s aware of the issue.
Indeed I am working on the issue. It’s actually an issue that Apple’s working on as well – they made some changes to their system last week, so updates to all shows are taking longer than usual. I’ve gotten an address to ping, so I’ll start building that into my upload process…
Definitely not Austin City Limits. I’ve seen their episode twice and they don’t play any covers whatsoever. If anything their performance is a bit too restrained, IMHO.
Hey Brian:
You rock, man! Thanks so much for playing my track. I’m actually not the Alex Ross who draws the crazy Marvel comix, nor the Alex Ross who writes for the New Yorker (though in e-mail exchanges I’m often asked that). I am, however, the Alex Ross who dug the “Romeo and Juliet…Wuthering Heights” literary connection and called w/ my daughter requesting a revisit to that. Virginia Woolf covers, any Indigo Girls fans? Perhaps a cover story? Keep up the awesome work. The first and best podcast I subscribed to!
Hi Brian,
Hey thanks for playing Oh Yeah (On the Radio), even better though was hearing your reaction to it!
keep up the awesome work,
Nick
Hey Brian, thanks for the Podcast. I moonlight in RI part itme selling computers and the content is a big atraction to convert people to MACs. During my presentatons I showcase your program as something unique available thru iTunes. Fact is that even if they get a windows box, I planted a seed for Coverville. Secondly, I do occasionally burn CDs and hand them out to costumers and gift them to friends. I think that highly of your efforts. My daughter got hooked with the Brittney cover podcast and she was thrilled with my dedication you played for her on the Valentines Day Podcast. Now we have something else to bond about. You Sir, are providng a huge service.
I hope one day to be a pay subscriber to your show.
I left you a voice mail about how much I love your show. The feeling I get when I push play and your intro music begins, I get goosbumps in anticipaton. As your show progresses, I smile and called you “Amazing” for your song selections and tidbits of information. Some songs throw me way off balance, in a good way. Where do you get the stuff?. Listening to your wife is also refereshing. Marriage is great when husband and wife can do some productive things together. I am glad she is involved, however reluctant. Treat her right! You Da man! Cast oN my fiend, Cast oN!
I am SO happy that you played Tim Ries’s “Wild Horses”. I heard it on AOL Radio/XM recently and had been looking for it, but didn’t know the artist. It’s great!
Um….Bjork frightens me.

That Shanti Project album is excellent, and Red House Painters do a great job with that Genesis track. Their covers of other artists are also good.
