Hey Brian,
Congrats on show 250! It was a treat seeing you again at the Expo and getting to meet the lovely Tina. Very nice editing job on the Expo clips (you made me sound actually coherent).
Always subscribed, always listening, – Bruce

PS: That Romeo & Juliet track was killer!! It blew my mind!
Brian,
Thanks for 250! Here’s to 250 more. (lifts pint) Just want to Amen that Dire Straits cover. Awsome! Keep up the good work man.
Eli
Hola chico. Congratulations on those 250 booty-shaking episodes. Wish I could have made it to the Expo this year. Kisses to Tina.

I was severely into Dire Straits about 20 to 25 years ago (oh god, it IS 25 YEARS!) and that last track just blew me away too. I’ve still not seen any guitarist make a lump of wood and some strings sound like Mark Knopfler can. Gonna have to upload their albums onto i-tunes now!
Here’s the solo from Sultans of Swing. Awesome stuff – finger picking too, no plectrum!

Brian, here’s to 250 shows! May you have many more. And like the people posting before me, R&J track was mind blowing!
Congratulations on 250 shows! STILL the best podcast around!
Wow! What a great show! This is probably my new favorite Coverville episode.
Congrats on your 250th. Keep them comming!
ELO recorded “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Greig on their third album. So “Roll Over Beethoven” is not their only cover.
Hey Brian,
I just found Coverville and I’m it rocks. I love covers. This is my new favorite podcast!
Just wanted to let everyone know how much I enjoyed hearing Monte Montgomery’s cover or Romeo and Juliet on here too. I’m one of those who gets to say, “I knew him when”. I used to listen to him live when the majority of his material was cover tunes. He used to do a rocking cover of Sultans of Swing too and played a cover of “Just like Me” for my wedding. Just awesome.
