Somethings wrong with the feed – no enclosure for this one.
Now it works – thanks
AAAAAAHHHHHHH!! Once again iTunes is slow. I love Coverville. I need to find a new way of downloading the show.
Enjoy your Christmas. Happy Holidays. Peep into My Blog for some unique gift ideas and loads of other fun stuffs.
Great show — and thumbs up to Tristan! Really made the show great to listen to — I smiled during the entire show.
Merry Christmas from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Regarding the speed of iTunes: I’m switching over the feed so that iTunes isn’t handling my bandwidth anymore. That should speed things up.
However, in the meantime, a better option is to subscribe using the “Subscribe To Podcast…” item under the Advanced menu. It will get the shows directly from my feed, and now that I’m using Feedburner to track subscriptions, there’s no problem with splitting users between the two.
In iTunes, choose “Subscribe to Podcast…” from the Advanced menu, and then copy and paste the following feed into the field:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/coverville
You’ll get the shows when I post them (depending on how often you have iTunes checking for new items).
something I never thought I would say,
Twisted Sister rocks!!
another awesome episode.
I LOVE steve taylor… he’s my favorite! Producers of Six Pence Non the richer… Director of last winters movie “the second chance” – writes a lot of the newsboys songs… BANNERMAN!
and itunes works fine for me. speed is no trouble.
Hi Brian – this show was AWESOME. I was already in a great holiday mood, and these wonderfully fun songs just sent me over the top. All the best to you & your family for Christmas, New Year’s, and always. Thanks for a great year of Covervilles.
Funny you should mention Burl Ives as the first artist to record Holly Jolly Christmas. I just read an article at falalalala.com which explains that he wasn’t–the Quinto Sisters were. Who knew? For that matter, who knew the Quinto Sisters, period?
Wow, The Quinto Sisters! Sure enough!
Brian,
Thanks for the info. I was getting so aggravated with the iTunes feed. I am sure using your feed things will be faster. I was just irked by how slow their servers were to pick up the show.
I hope you and your family are not freezing in the snow. The shot of you and Tristan digging out the snow is classic.
I wish you, Tina, and Tristan a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Merry Christmas, Brian, Tina, and Tristan! We’re listening to this show on Christmas morning!
