Um, Brian. Your numbers are off. Shouldn’t this be #341? 😉
I lovelovelove the cover of Valerie & Alison. They are simply wonderful!
Oh, Tracey Thorn! Oh, be still my heart! A lovely cover.
I loved the Suzanne Vega cover of “Cassidy” also. I forgot how much I liked it, actually, til I heard it again.
And yes, you’ve been playing a lot of that Mark Ronson album, but I’ve liked everything you played so far. I’ll definitely pick it up.
Isn’t cassidy about Neal Cassidy? Definately a guy.
Since the name of the beat icon is Neal Cassady, not Neal Cassidy, no, I don’t think the song is about him. But I certainly don’t listen to a lot of the Dead.
After hearing Cracker’s cover of Victoria, and immediately picked up a copy of This Is Where I Belong, which is just great. Thanks, as always, Brian.
Speaking of Amy Winehouse and covers…check this out, it’s Seether’s cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”:
