Please, please please put the full song of “I ran” by pennsylvania 6-5000 that you played from the Acapodcast. That was so awesome. Long time listener.
Brian! Loved the a cappella version of your lead-in song – friend, you got Skillz!!!!
My wife and I really enjoyed that.
Loved Shambala; Purple Haze (wow) and Rhinestone Cowboy were perfect: another Great Show, and almost better than side 2 of Sozo!
…Of course, I don’t think I’ve ever heard side two of Sozo, in that I like “Stairway” way too much.
Nice! Didn’t Stanford Mixed Company do “Come on Eileen” too? My version in i-tunes just says “Mixed Company”. It is rather supremely awesome I’d say, better than the other versions you have played by miles IMO! Maybe a future show?
Also, and this is REALLY picky, but Rockapella appeared to be using a drum machine, so it’s kind of just their own voices, plus a drum machine!! 🙂
Loved the intro too. I’m just scratching the surface of Garageband so far…
Great job on the intro! I love it whenever you have a cover of the coverville theme!!
Can I suggest an a cappella cover for a future show? I’ve just discovered the Cuban group Vocal Sampling and they do an awesome cover of Hotel California on their album Akapelleando.
I sure hope there is an A Cappella VI, this was great! My favorite episode since… probably since A Cappella IV.

No, Ani (pronounced Ah-ni) is not Canadian. I was yelling at my iPod, so I’m glad you heard me.
Loved “Me and Julio,” loved “Spoonman,” and I love “32 Flavors” in any form. It’s such a great song, and so hard to screw up.
@Wayne: That’s no drum machine, that’s a vocal percussionist. 🙂 He scarily good.
My family and I saw them for a Christmas show last year and he even figured out how to do sleigh bells.
