Funny, I always thought this was a Pete Seeger song. Hmm. Just checked Allmusic, he was the first major recording of the song.
Anyway, this is one freeking great show. Watching S01E03 as I type. Best west Wing Alumni series so far.
Similarly, the 1995/6 anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion used covers of “Fly Me to the Moon” for each end-credits sequence.
I wish I had Showtime so I could see this show; heard so much about it. Maybe I’ll get that 2-month free trial the cable company was offering…
