Here’s what’s on tap for all-request night:
“The Beholder & His Eye” – The Sun Sawed In 1/2 (Uncovered gem of the week)
“I Am the Walrus (Live)” – Styx (originally The Beatles)
“High & Dry” – Jamie Cullum (originally Radiohead)
“You’re Still the One” – Roper (originally Shania Twain)
“Oops! I Did It Again” – Richard Thompson (originally Britney Spears)
“Toxic” – Local H (originally Britney Spears)
Great show. Definitely gonna give it another listen. Keep up the great work
“You’re Still the One” cracked me up this morning. Thanks! Coverville is the only podcast I keep archives of.
One quick request: Meat Loaf did a cover of “Forever Young” on his last album, “Couldn’t Have Said It Better.” I don’t know if it’s the Dylan tune or the Rod Stewart tune, or if they’re all the same song. UGH. I’ll leave that to the musicologists. In any case, I’d love to hear that one on Coverville. Surely either of those two artists have been covered enough by now that you could even dedicate a whole show to them. =)
This is no longer a “quick” request, is it? Sorry. Shutting up now.
I’ve told everyone I know about this show.
I hope you get more listeners!
Regarding the phone number spelling anything, I didn’t find anything using one of the online tools:

Oh, and thanks for playing my request!
Coverville just gets better and better. Any show that can redeem “Still the One” and “Oops!” back to back has my vote.
Went to vote for you while listening to your latest great show, but voting is offline? I’ll go back soon. I really love your show.

Love the show! Long time listener first time commentor 😉
Love the Roper cover. Did you know they are a local Denver band? Reese Roper is the former frontman for Five Iron Frenzy http://www.fiveironfrenzy.com a dearly departed denver ska band of many great years. You should check out their covers of Tom Jones and ELO, great stuff. (Unfortunately you can’t get it on iTunes)
