I’m sorry, but that Flaming Lips cover of Can’t Get You Out Of My Head is one of the worst things I’ve ever heard in my life. Sounds like he’s straining on the potty while singing. The music is complete nonsense as well.
Yuck!
Great show and it was very efficient of you to include Anna at the last moment. check out Anna’s show people. Along with Coverville and The Bitterest Pill, it is an ESSENTIAL podcast!
For future shows, there is a great version of “Down Under” by the Red army Choir, all Russian-ised (if there were to be such a word) and very cool. Anna turned me onto this!
I’m all for making a cover your own, but that midnight oil cover at the end was so dark an depressing it made me want to slit my wrists.
How can you do an Australian themed show & not include AC/DC? I’m so disappointed, Brian…
Steph, because of this:

🙂
Steph, I thought the same about Rolf Harris and The Wiggles. With all seriousness.
