Correcting a mistake…..despite appearing on his first "Man Of Constant Sorrow" was not written by Dylan. It's a traditional song that goes back to at least 1913: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_of_Constant_Sorr…
I think this is the first time I've gotten a musically challenged question that Brian missed. KT Tunstall has gotten that song all over the place.
I must be mean spirited, but a bunch of old geezers singing Anarchy in the UK, or whatever they do, is never going to do it for me. It goes ahead of the Puppini Sisters though!! The sounds of Oxygen masks and rock and roll don't mix.
Forever Young is the Bob Dylan song – most people remember the Rod Stewart Version. There is a great cover on youtube by Niel Young and the Greatful Dead.
Another slight correction. The version of 'Man of Constant Sorrow' in the 'O Brother' movie, was not performed by George Clooney et al. It was performed by Dan Tyminski from Alison Krauss' backup band Union Station.
