Tonight’s show wasn’t planned to be an all-independent artist Coverville, but it sure turned into one – and it’s some great music by bands you may not know. And no, I don’t get any kickbacks – this is truly a labor of love. Use the links below to find out more about these excellent artists. Here’s what’s on tap:
“Somebody To Love” – Chiwawa (originally Jefferson Airplane)
“Bye Bye Love” – Spiraling (originally the Cars)
“Bright Eyes” – Nick66 (originally Art Garfunkel)
“Walking In My Shoes” – Finger Eleven (originally Depeche Mode)
“Breathe” – Bari Koral (orignally Maria McKee)
“Babylon” – Round Two (originally David Gray)

Hi Brian!
Love your show! Really something worth listening to!
But I strongly advice you to give your voice a rest until you have completely recovered from the cold you caught there. I love to sing and all this and I know that using one’s voice when you should actually give it rest, can acutally harm it. So, please, take your time.
Best wishes – Frank
Oh loved the Depeche Mode cover, really great. I might even rehear that for a little time and put away the Neil Finn thing … :o)
And yes, you should give your voice a rest :o(
How about you writing down your little texts and we help you out with reading them for you? :o)
I love your show. Hope you’re feeling better soon. We play original songs on our podcast chubcreek.com, but no covers so far, maybe we’ll give it a try.
Brian,
Great that you’re still podcasting, but please make sure you’re not harming your voice. I think Nicole made a great suggestion. Please let us know if you need our voices!
Get well soon,
Karin
Marry me.
The lead singer from Spiraling did a stint as Meat Loaf’s pianist. You can see him on the VH-1 Meat Loaf Storytellers hour. Amazing stuff.
Great show Brian!
My favorite remedy for a sore throat is Fisherman’s Friend http://www.fishermansfriend.com/ .
I hope it’s available in the US too.
Fisherman’s Friend is, indeed, available in the United States. I don’t know how many places carry it anymore, though.
especially dig this show!! all the songs rock!
cheers 🙂
