This is a theme night I’ve had in mind for a while, and since I’m waiting on a few tracks to finish up a few other theme nights, I’ll pull it out of reserve and do it tonight!
Tonight you’ll hear music from The Pretenders and Chrissie Hynde, both covers that they’ve performed as well as covers of their music. That, and a very special long distance dedication… Music tonight by Big Daddy, Jonathan Richman, Nikol Kollars, Saliva, Tom Jones, and of course The Pretenders and Chrissie Hynde.
I’m trying to figure out a clean way to give you all faster downloads in the first few hours that the show is available. Until I do, though, I thank you for your patience and hope each show is worth the wait!

I know you were only being cute in your opening but…..
there are THOUSANDS, should I say MILLIONS of cover songs to play still! Please don’t joke about something such as terrible as you not making this show anymore!
Pleeeeeeeeeeease!
Didn’t mean to scare you…as long as there are listeners, there will be a Coverville. As long as there are bands that think they can do a better job of “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, I’ll continue to make this show. For as long as there’s a William Shatner, I’ll be there.
Brian
How about William Shatner doing “Total Eclipse of The Heart?”
OK, if that ever happened, I’d have to end the show. There would be no topping that.
best show ever man!

LOVE Chrissie Hynde. She is the Quintessential Lady Rocker. An undeniable badass! Great stuff, thanks!
Just heard a great cover of Lou Reed’s Perfect Day done by Duran Duran.
Argghhh!!! Brian, I know why you can’t list the songs on your website, but cramming the info into the comment line of the ID3 tag isn’t working. All I see is hex code and this in turn locks up my flash based MP3 player. My workaround is to strip the ID3 tag while the show is in the thumb drive.
