Yes, tonight it’s mostly Irish bands covering popular music (except for one Swedish band covering an Irish song…) And no U2. Don’t get me wrong. I like U2. But surely you know that there are a lot of other great Irish bands out there besides Bono and the boys. But don’t take my word for it, listen to tonight’s show. Here’s what you’ll hear when you do:
“We Have All The Time In The World” – My Bloody Valentine (popularized by Louis Armstrong)
“Secret Love” – Sinead O’Connor (standard, popularized by Doris Day, Frank Sinatra and others)
“Does Your Mother Know” – Ash (originally ABBA)
“Honky Tonk Woman” – The Pogues (originally The Rolling Stones)
“I Need Love” – Luka Bloom (originally L L Cool J)
“The Boys Are Back In Town” – The Cardigans (originally Thin Lizzy)

Great show. I love that Cardigans cover. Thank you for playing that and for all that you do. Coverville rocks!
I am a little late, but thanks for playing Luka Bloom.
I have to admit, I never heard of him before, but I just bought the whole CD from the iTMS – btw, why do you not have a partnership-thing with the iTMS, like Michael Butler is doing it. Don’t know how much you earn, but even 5% would have been 50 cent…
