Tonight’s cover story focuses on an artist that had a huge string of hits in the 80’s and 90’s, and was taken from us in 2003: solo artist and vocalist for Vinegar Joe and Power Station, Robert Palmer.

Sorry, just got around the listening to the Richard Thompson cover show. It's great. Hey, it's not my fault as the IPOD picks the stuff on random and that show came on. So thank you. Also you could have used "Any Trouble's, "Dimming of the Day.''
Brian – Do you put the song you think your audience might like the least in the last position? Excluding New Years Eve & the countdown, it seems like the case.
I try to – unless it fits better with songs in other sets. But that doesn't mean I try to lead off with the song I think they'll like best.
The Dirty Dozen Brass Band cover of Mercy Mercy Me rocks. That whole album rocks, they covered the whole of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On?", with a really cool version of Inner City Blues on there.
I'd love to see an all Brass Band/Street Funk/Second Line/New Orleans show sometime 🙂 The Youngblood Brass Band do some wicked covers as well.
