Yesterday was Tom Petty’s 60th, and you know it’s not like me to let a monumental day like that go by without honoring it with a Cover Story. Covers of and by Tom Petty with and without the Heartbreakers, as well as a special tribute to Full Moon Fever, tonight on Coverville!

I’m always surprised when you play music I own – I have the last two cuts.
You’re right – people should own Concert for George.
BTW, Linda will be 65 next July, but not sure what you can do about it, her being a cover artist, unless you do an Originalville.
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Running Down a Dream cover was quite possibly the worst cover I have ever heard! I’ve been a subscriber to Coverville for a few years now and I’ve heard a lot of covers I loved and some that I’ve been indifferent about but this one made me cringe. Sorry. The version by The Alien Blakk takes the song in a crazy direction and totally rocks.
Hey Brian – Love the Tom Petty episode. (Well, I love ’em all…I’m just partial to the ones that you play me on.) Kinda humbling to be played after Kathleen Edwards. She’s awesome.
Thanks for the support, as always. And keep up the good work.
