Why do you list The Mamas and the Papas as the original artist for Dream a Little Dream? The first version of this song was done by Ozzie Nelson back in 1931. There were many other versions in the intervening years. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream_a_Little_Dream_of_Me. (The second version was only 2 days after the first!)
I am sure that Brian knows that there have been many versions of the song. The Mama Cass version is probably the best known these days and if anyone wanted to hear the version that they are familiar with it would be that one.
