Love the show. Thanks for the recent One covers – great takes on a great song that, at this point, has been played out in its original form but reasserts itself with world class musicians (even if Mills sings like a yak in heat at least it has feeling, and Stipe live blows away studio Bono).
Also thought I’d add my two cents about critics – if nobody says you suck you’re doing something wrong – if everybody likes everything you play you’re playing the vanilla %$#*&% we all get on corporate radio.
Speaking of radio….though I am sure you know already (being the top rated music show on Podcast Alley) a radio station (real bona fide nuts and bolts radio) is going all Podcast. You will kill. Go for it. If they haven’t contacted you – find them (http://www.kyouradio.com/).

Not diggin’ the new intro music. It’s so….down…so depressing…so blah….
The Bruce intro despite its being a slightly overplayed pop song seemed to really start the show on a high note.
The new music is so….sparse…underproduced and horribly retro. It makes the show sound really bad, Brian. Sorry, just being honest. Go back to Bruce and keep searching for something that will give the show a little more kick at the beginning.

Saw Cyndi Lauper in concert a couple of summers ago. She’s redone “SheBop” now. Sounds completely different, like she’s covering herself. There’s an accordian there, and a general feel of 1920s Paris or something. Bizarre, but nice.
