With Skyfall coming out tomorrow, I’ve got James Bond films on the brain, so let’s look at some (more) covers of the great songs that begin his films. (49 minutes)

I had this Billy Strange album that I got from the Capitol Record club, on Crescendo Records, which got stolen in 1972, along with a couple dozen others, alphabetically A, B, and S-Z, from my grandmother’s house. http://www.amazon.com/Goldfinger-Sound-Strange-Guitar-Orchestra/dp/B001QFZN96
Great lineup, Brian! Glad to see LuAnn Olson’s cover of “You Only Live Twice” made the cut. Cheers!
Really looking forward to listening to this on my drive to work tomorrow. You’ll really enjoy Skyfall – great Bond!
This was brilliant, but the thing that made me smile the most was the fact you can now say Bassey properly!
Skyfall was great and Bond in general makes me feel really proud as it is so supremely British and always has been. Just introduced my 9 year old son to Bond and he loves it, but actually complains more about the old Bonds than the new, or more specifically that he is always kissing girls (and they are yuck according to him)!!
I love music from Bond movies and Brian has picked excellent covers for this one! This show alone has cost me $15 at Amazon – and yes – I got to Amazon through Coverville. Thanks, Brian!
