Len at Jawbone included me in his “six” for a photo meme. Basically, you pick the sixth photo on the sixth page of your Flickr feed, and post it in your blog.
Here’s the thing. I don’t have six pages of photos in Flickr. I have one page. So, I give you the sixth photo on that first page of photos!
Tristan at the home opener Texans vs. Broncos game in Houston Texas, 2005.
And I hereby challenge the continuation of this meme upon: Dan Klass, Tim Coyne (this guy KNOWS photos), Tim & Michelle at Five Hundy, Chad Bergeron, and Charlie George.
I loved the Musically Challenged. Keeping singing, Andy!
When will we see a They Might Be Giants cover story? Some of their best songs are covers: "Istanbul", "New York City", "Why Does the Sun Shine?" and "Yeh Yeh". (Maybe tracking down the originals of those would be good, because they're all pretty obscure.) Also, the chorus of "The Guitar" is to the tune of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
I actually did a TMBG Cover Story, which focused more on covers of their music:

Hey, Common Rotation! Awesome.
Oh! I wonder how I missed that (other the fact that I started listening around #388).
Hey, Matt from NY, if you read this, let's get in touch, and maybe collaborate…. (No, no Vanilla Ice….)

Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me) is the b-side for The Reflex, from the Seven and the Ragged Tiger album. I remember that a friend of mine had the 12" single, and I was envious. But I got the picture disc instead.
I have that picture disc too Michelle – it's the Dance Remix picture disc and I have just had to go to my vinyl vault to prove this (before I read your post) as it has been nagging me all day! That's men for you 🙂
The original song is a popular one here and has also been covered by Erasure and The Wedding Present (amongst others). Reached number 1 in 1975 in the UK.
Would make a terrific Lyrics Undercover too as it is apparently a vindictive song about Harley's former band mates
