One of the first gothic rock groups, and a well-deserved cover story to honor them and the solo artists and bands that came after! [Note: Reposted due to accidental switch of MP3 and AAC shownotes]

Thank you for this cover story! I like the choices you made. I admit to being perplexed that you don’t have the Bauhaus cover of “Ziggy Stardust”, but I don’t miss it too much.
Wow… it’s rare that I skip through so much of an episode of Coverville, but I found myself unable to make it to the end of almost every song on this episode. Thankfully Duncan Sheik kept it from being a total loss. Oh well, you can’t win ’em all Brian! 😉
Very mixed feelings on this one – but I DO appreciate the effort (and the bizarre). I did pick up the Duncan Sheik album because of this (interestingly, his take on “The Ghost In You” is strikingly similar (in my warped brain) to what BT did on _These Hopeful Machines_). May also pick up the Pet Shop Boys tribute as well.
