Leslie Gore? Unexplicable, indeed. But you called her famous song “It’s My Party and I’ll Do What I Want To” – obviously, it’s “Cry” if I want to.
But you missed Canadian songwriter Kathleen Edwards doing an excellent version of “Money Talks” from a live CD/DVD EP called Live From The Bowery Ballroom.
Some of us, *cough* have the 7 inch single of the Dave Stewart and Barbara Gaskin cover of “It’s my party” from 1981. Came out YEARS later in the USA I believe.

And no Celine Dion!
Oh, I think “unexplicable” seems quite appropriate. What was she (or her producer) thinking?
The Wiggles thing, though, was crazy genius. And yeah, that Bing Ji Ling song was fun, too, although it’s hard to top ol’ Eddie Spaghetti. Have you heard his version of “Hey Ya!”? It’s quite excellent.
