Brian
The strong start to 2011 continues with another good episode. Unfortunately, the audio issues were not fully resolved. Track one has a few skips. Still listening and am on track three now. So far, so good tracks 2 and 3. I really like track 3 but then again I am a huge AC/DC fan. Looking forward to track 11.
There’s a great Lucinda cover by Lucky Peterson, “Atonement” from his new album “You Can Always Turn Around”. Worth checking out!
love that Heartbreakers album. Ther’s also a great Beck cover on there, but don’t know that you’d play it, since the title is a seven-letter word that’s considered a curse.
FYI, she was the guest on this week’s Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me. She was a cool interview. 🙂
This episode seemed almost like an excuse to play lots of Lucinda, and that’s alright with me.
Hey Brian,
I was sure someone would have posted this already, but I am pretty sure Marching the Hate Machines is a Thievery Corporation original, with Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips on the original vocals, not Postal Service…although, they did do a cover of the Flaming Lips “Suddenly Everything Has Changed”.
TTFN.
Marching the Hate Machines was originally done by Thievery Corporation, not Postal Service. Oops.
