Excellent Podcast. One of my favorites. Keep it up. The “Maybe I’m Amazed” cover by the Virgos rocked dude.
Yes, my favorite show so far as well, and I just happen to be listening to that cover by the Virgos right now, and it is a treat.
I like Sarah’s rendition but I’m a biased Canadian. Probably too soft to win top prize, but maybe top ten.
I won two iPods from Pepsi Canada and I’m so excited because when I hold down “pause” to power off, my spot within a file is remembered; my Lyra player did no such thing.

Hi — GREAT podcast. Besides being a regular listener of yours (and fellow podcaster), I’m also a producer for CBC Radio’s “Definitely Not the Opera”… it’s Canada’s weekly pop culture magazine show.
I wonder if you might email me back with a contact phone number or email address for you… I have a few questions for you that would help in a piece I’m working on.
I saw the Telegraph 50 best covers and as usual it comes down to a matter of taste BUT I would have thought that in any cover poll Sinead O’Conner’s cover of Prince’s Nothing Compares 2U should be there somewhere.
There’s nothing better than a poll to start a blog going!
thanks for a GREAT podcast 🙂
I guess the group Gregorian aren’t a cover group, but man, do they do some great arrangements of popular pieces. I don’t know if it’s a cover, but check out “Join Me” with Sarah Brightman, wow!
I’m looking forward to their rendition of Hurt; though they probably won’t beat Johnny Cash.
Great Podcast, my first Coverville downloaded and an excellent introduction. Heard about Coverville via the BBC Culture Show about Podcasting where one bloke recommended it. Keep up the great work!
super podcast!!! regular listener since the abba special,(adam curry suggested in his podcast) and never missed an episode!! keep up the good work, take care!!! Paul
