The Coverville page on Wikipedia is under the notability microscope, and since I’m not experienced in writing/editing articles for Wikipedia, I’m hoping that there’s a listener who can help. Specifically, the introductory paragraph needs to be rewritten in a way that makes the subject matter notable.
Please note: Coverville’s notability is not in question, just the article. I’ve seen other articles for shows I love which resulted in a heated discussion about notability (of which I was a contributor), and I don’t want to see this come to that.
I’m not particularly Wikipedia-literate either, but someone could point out that Coverville was in the first wave of podcasts, has lasted longer than most (how many have passed 300 episodes, fer cryin’ out loud?) and is successful to the point where the host is able to make podcasting his full-time career. Seems pretty notable to me!
Warren, I’m not going to say much because the tubes have eyes but these guys ideas of what is “notable” would not appear in any dictionary you or I own.
They don’t like podcasts being on Wikipedia. And many people, such as Jawbone and ELR have been wiped.
