An episode to celebrate the amazing life and musical body of work the Prince, who left us too soon last week. Sometimes it snows in April. (98 minutes)

Elvis Costello wanted to include a cover of “Pop Life” on his 1997 “Extreme Honey: The Very Best of Warner Brothers Years” greatest hits compilation. Prince said no way. Probably because the collection was a Warner Brothers release. Elvis, not to be detered, wrote “The Bridge I Burn” in the style of his version of “Pop Life.” (He even repeats “pop life” throughout the cut) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGhlUBtY8_I
“The Bridge I Burned” Typo. 🙂
Great show, and a sad loss. One of my favorites is When You Were Mine – Penny Flanagan – Seven Flights Up (LP)

Possibly my favourite episode of Coverville, notwithstanding the sad circumstances which led to it.
