Thanks for the HTH cover!
Holy cow, that cover of Mercedes Benz is flat out awesome! Too bad I’ve already placed my vote for the countdown, this may be my favorite of the year.
Glad to see you found a place for the Jonatha Brooke version.
I had the opposite reaction to the Mercedes Benz cover, Jim. To me it sounded disturbingly like that godawful “Blues Hammer” fake blues band from the movie “Ghost World.”
Great Show!
Y’all must be psychic. During trivia, you spoke of the movie “Real Genius.” When I got home, I turned on Comedy Central, and guess what was playing?
The popcorn scene is LEGENDARY!!!
Brian,
Wish I could help you out on the PAL to NTSC conversion but I can give you a bit of a RocKwiz video, which also apparently is the last TV appearance of Split Enz/Crowded House drummer, Paul Hester.

I will keep looking for more clips.
On the hunt for a Wii too!!!!
I was watching Bones on Fox this evening and Placebo’s cover of Running Up That Hill was featured prominently at about the 53 minute mark when Ryan O’Neal’s character was on the roof. It was very effective in that scene.
Wow, thanks for the Police cover. That just shows what a great songwriter Sting is. Too bad he’s given up popular music and picked up that dang lute.
