Isn't this just the way things are? (I think the technical term is "Murphy's Law") Driving around for lunch today, my i-pod offered up "Color Me Once" by the venerable Violent Femmes – and it occourred to me: "This would be a great cover!" I zipped back to work, promptly forgetting this query for about 40 minutes, when it popped back into my noggin. I begain my search (silly me) at "The Covers Project" and didn't find any covers. I quickly moved onto your site – intent on finding a e-mail link to pose the question when while scrolling down I discovered your latest cover story is the vivacious Violent Femmes. I would have been amazed to see a cover of my song – but of course – not…
So, I ask – simply? – is there one? If there is can, you include it on your next request show? If not, tell all you're capable of (via your fancy little podcast) to please DO ONE! (for some reason, I'd like to hear a Corrine Baily Rae-type "soft 'n' sexy" version…)

Unrelated – I'm interested to know if there's a "Sex Is Violent" cover (The ?original? by Jane's Addiction features a sample of "I Put a Spell on You" – and was featured on the Natural Born Killers soundtrack with additional dialog from the movie peppered in for added… ?grit?)
