I'm pretty sure that the Across the Sea tribute just consists of Japanese groups, with Hermann H and the Pacemakers being a Japanese group.
Also Weezer themselves recently did a bunch of covers as bonus tracks and b-sides for the international versions of their latest album, though hunting them down would be a bit difficult.
They also do a decent cover of Green Day's Worry Rock on a Green Day tribute album and Rivers recorded a cover of the Dion song Little Diane with members of Sloan on "Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo".
Don't know what took me so long to find your podcast. but I'm glad i did keep up the great work
Thanks Brian!!!
