Tonight’s show comes to you from Grover’s Mill, New Jersey, where we are waiting for the Orionids meteor shower and listening to some David Bowie tracks. What does that have to do with Halloween? I’ll tell you. But first, what’s that light coming down from the sky?

Simply fantastic episode, loved every single track.
Hey Brian,
When I click on iTunes under 'Pitch Black Dream's version of Space Oddity, it takes me to Mates of State's page on iTunes. I can't find PBD's Space Oddity on iTunes…or even that album. Is it only available on Amazon?
I'm afraid so – that link must have gotten copied from the previous entry. The album is fantastic. Ooooh! You can get it from CDBaby: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/spidersfromvenus
sweet…thanks!
I can't believe you didn't include anything from PinUps!
Well, in keeping with the whole War of the Worlds vibe, I tried to stick with "space-related" covers. There isn't anything "spacey" on Pin-Ups. The closest thing was going to be Bowie's cover of Across The Universe from Young Americans.
