If you see a painted sign at the side of the road, it says Welcome to the B-52’s Cover Story! Where, coincidentally, you won’t hear any covers of Love Shack. Happy Birthday, Fred Schneider!

Loved the Yayhoos cover. Great work, Brian! I always look forward to the Coverville episodes each week to see what new and interesting stuff you have in store.
I think the Les Deux Love Orchestra version of Planet Claire is from Monsters vs. Aliens.
Always glad to see a Spankers tune featured. You can see a video of their "Dance This Mess Around" cover here, in which they do all sixteen dances.
FYI, if you ever do a Beastie Boys cover story, the Spankers also have an excellent version of "Paul Revere" off that same "Mercurial" CD.
I was never a B52s fan "back in the day'; however, I really enjoyed Coverville 685! I may have to go back and revisit some of these originals. I will admit, Strobelight was one of my guilty pleasures. Not sure if that was ever covered. Thanks for an awesome Cover Story.
I never thought that the B-52s would be a "cover-able" band, since their sound is so unique. So, I have to say I had low expectations for this batch of covers. I'm glad that I was wrong. Great job — a fun episode all around. Idea for a future "hard to cover" challenge: The Dave Matthews Band. I'm a long-time listener and can't recall ever hearing any DMB covers on your show. Are there any good ones out there?
