A little over 20 years ago, Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” was released. A masterpiece in filmmaking, and in no small part to the amazing soundtrack, which provided a fantastic and accurate landscape for the scenes, and there are some songs that you hear today that still remind you of certain scenes in the film.

Were you just being clever, or was the “Henry” that requested this podcast, Henry Hill?? You phrased a lot of things quite specifically as if various real people from the world of Goodfellas/Henry Hill would ‘really like this track’…
I’m onto you Ibbott…
Liked the show, but I’m REALLY glad you stretched outside of the soundtrack. the other songs provide a much more interesting palate.
Fabulous Brian! Love this movie, a great Pileggi written story (like Casino) that Scorcese didn’t hardly have to change from the book. My personal favourite is the use of Rags to Riches at the start of the movie – looking forward to the bonus tracks for this maybe!
Love these soundtrack/movie shows.
Another suggestion is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
